Ben DeCamp is an extremely accomplished nightlife and event photographer based in San Diego.

His website, TheStyleShark.com, will get you fired; Wait until you are in the privacy of your home before you click that link. Ben also writes a blog about his adventures, thoughts, and childhood memories: Self-medicating himself with the very poison that feeds his womanizing disease; using an extensive vocabulary and the syntax of a crack addict.

After spending several months in NYC, studying under world-renowned filmmaker and photographer, Richard Kern, Ben has finally returned to San Diego- to the disappointment of a few poser photographers, but also to the delight of many others- including myself.

This site would not be what it is without Ben’s talent, visual aesthetic, and MANY long pep talks. For a biography about Ben, you can Google his name. In my own words: Ben, you are a talented photographer and an exceptional writer. You are also a peculiar, complicated creature; whose brilliance, passion, and discipline has somehow balanced out your eccentricities. Thus, making you the weirdo that encourages me, and, that still confuses me, everyday. Your talent and insight you have provided for this site are invaluable to me, and I could never thank you enough –at least without sacrificing some sort of personal integrity. So consider this your hot dog stand.

As with nearly every solo campaign I have undergone, TheMixster campaign would not be as fun, or as bizarre, if you weren’t somehow involved as well. Thanks again for everything, my muy fancy friend.
