December Event Calendar: EDM Delights

Some of the most amazing underground indie dance acts, fun-step producers, French house machines, and even some of the world’s most renowned names will be gracing the urbanized and LED-lit landmarks of San Diego this chilly December. And I can find no better reason than to put my dancing pumps on and be positively jiggy about what’s to come!

**Because there are also a few events we can’t really divulge the details of quite yet, check back here for updates in about a week or so for a bit more added goodness as it becomes available for us to make public.**

Here are the highlights of what you need to be excited about coming up:

December 2nd – Mr. Oizo at Voyeur

Anything Ed Banger is a guaranteed an amazing time for all. This is one of my absolute favorite producers in the WORLD. Definitely a don’t miss show.

Undoubtedly, if you’ve ever blissfully stared into the tremendous blares of LED light covered stage or room in the last five years, you’ve been subjected to the power that is Angello’s enchantingly progressive house incantations. December 4th – BREAKDOWN + Bubblegum Sci Fi at U31

Bro-duo Breakdown know how to party: Along with their own original floor-flooding tracks, the boys have remixed everyone from Green Velvet, Danny Tenaglia, MIA, and most recently, Daft Punk’s Derezzed off the upcoming TRON Legacy soundtrack. Bubblegum Sci Fi will be opening up the show so get on the dance floor early and prepare to shake ’til you sweat alllllll night long.

December 11th – Zeds Dead + Bubblegum Sci Fi at El Dorado Cocktail Lounge

I can whole-heartedly guarantee that Zeds Dead will be bigger than sliced bread in 2011. This mad duo out of Canada presents a mean twist on dubstep: infusing more indie, disco ball dance party elements, the pair have created their own brand of sound. I am going to unofficially dub it fun-step. Bubblegum Sci Fi is opening so get ready for an indie electro dance party guaranteed to make you feel like you sparkle and shine in all the right places.
