The man behind this face-melting mix, DJ Onnex, is a seriously drop dead sexy human being who curiously chose a life as a nomadic DJ instead of that of lady’s man. Wandering between here and there, and up and down the California coast, you can only catch him live as he extemporaneously pops into clubs throughout his journeys. After dropping huge aural bombs on unassuming crowds,  you’d think he’d flee the scene when whole dance floors turned into full-blown, vociferous frenzies — but DJ Onnex stays until the end, and continues to instigate utter chaos.

And when he unpredictably drops into San Diego, he always brings a few of these absolutely out-of-whack and totally twisted benders with him — that I usually fiendishly hide from the light of day. Until now: This set is truly dysfunctional and unbelievably awesome. It’s multifaceted and hyper dimensional, yet it’s a fully packed high-energy electro-dance banger sure to tip a few overboard. Oh, and did we mention, IT IS MIXED LIVE?! No do-overs, edits, changes, NOTHING. He did this straight up — as pure as sound itself.
