JFK of MSTRKRFT and Bird Peterson will be turning the tides and flipping the Wavehouse upside down, transforming Mission Beach from a sandy spot into an all out dance-laden RAVEHOUSE, this sunday August 22nd at this week’s edition of Sunday Funday mayhem.

JFK (Jesse Fitzgerald Keeler) from internationally beloved DJ duo MSTRKRFT, and as equally renowned indie rock band Death From Above 1979 has carved out a home for himself in some of the most listened to mix-tapes from artists around the globe with his cutthroat re-edits of impeccable Electro and Techno gems. His insatiable thirst for the most brutal and glitched-out bangers has made him an icon in the indie dance world, and with newly released original productions from making their way around the blogsphere, JFK has once again pumped new life into his career and regained his following after the MSTRKRFT Live vs Top 40′s fiasco that turned off a majority of their fans. JFK is also the Co-founder of Teenage Riot Records with Adrian Martinez from Undocumented Management, and has formed a new production partnership with Canadian Techno artist St. Mandrew that has already given birth to a new series of original tracks that combine a heavy glitch sound with a touch of dutch house flavor.. be ready to hear all of these Sunday!

Bird Peterson, another artist signed to Teenage Riot Records, is currently in the midst of his End of Summer Hot Jam Clearance Bonanza – serving up piping hot fresh bangers, unreleased sonic gems, and classic Bird throwbacks to his fans all for free. Known for his heavy kicks, and in your face electro energy, Bird Peterson has made a huge name for himself the past two years as a DJ and producer playing alongside some of the biggest Electro heavyweights, and gaining their support with his unique remixes and original material that has elevated him to the top of the game in 2010. At Ravehouse this Sunday, you can expect to be blown away by his charisma and ground-shaking tracks that I would bet.. You’ve never heard.
