Ha so it’s very apparent that Sufjan Stevens is quite the Christmas enthusiast: he’s released a Christmas EP every year for the last FIVE years (which are now available as a box set!). On BBC Radio 6, Stevens, alongside The National’s Bryce & Aaron Dessner, and Arcade Fire’s Richard Perry debuted two new Christmas jingles: A beautiful and melodically-layered rework of “Silent Night” as well as a new track called ““Barcarola (You Must Be A Christmas Tree)”.

Spank Rock + Johnny Sierra (The Death Set)- Little Drummer Boy
Spank Rock and Johnny Sierra of The Death Set parody the supremely awkward Bing Crosby and David Bowie video – where they discuss music and Christmas and then break out into a totally weird duet version of “Little Drummer Boy“. Total crack-up haha.

Best Coast and Wavves -“Got Something for You”
Not gonna lie this is a pretty catchy little hipster ditty.
