[Moombahton] Valentino Khan – Kingstone

In his latest original, LA-based Valentino Khan, of the former MARKET PRICE, infuses tribal vocal lines atop endless layers of bouncy percussions, salacious stabs, and barreling synths; resulting in a tropical floor-flooding maschine. Typical of both VK’s originals and his remixes, multiple progressions evolve impressively, and transition with impeccable fluidity. Halfway through the track, I admittedly had to review my dashboard as I was sure the track had moved into at least 3 different songs! VK’s multifacted approach to the thoughtful construction of his tracks no doubt reflects the high standard of production upheld by the top tier of artists within the Moombahton realm. With only great faith I can hope emerging producers will follow suit: producing tracks that are engaging, intelligently crafted, and multidimensional.

The KINGSTONE single was meant to drop originally as a B-side on his forthcoming release off MAD DECENT, but because it contained too many samples to clear, VK generously dropped the track for free download for his fans on his Soundcloud.
