Whoa there! Let’s get back to our deep down roots for just a bit, and touch on origins that we owe an immeasurable amount of credit to in the world of EDM. Yes: the disco era!
Birthing from the bright and sunshiny coast of SD, DJ duo French Kiss Collective have spent the last two years establishing a name for themselves by creating an eclectic mixture of house that indubitably stems from their love of disco. Putting passion to electric keys, they have whimsically presented us with their first EP, fully charged with three, dance-floor-ready tracks. Strictly sampling records between 1975-1985, and only using original analog synths, this EP is a disco revival release like no other!
Starting us off with some serious energy, their collaboration with LA based producer Falcon Punch on Foreplay is as groovylicious as it comes, encompassing all things 70′s with its strong, positive, rising beats!
FRENCH KISS COLLECTIVE – Foreplay
Originally off Nu Shooz’s album Poolside, which some would fervently argue is “the perfect disco record”, FKC’s remix of I Can’t Wait is a blissfully nostalgic rework of an old classic!

Wrapping up this highly animated concoction, Midnight Dancer would make anyone want to throw on their bellbottoms, and side-step, pivot-turn their way onto any dance floor!
