So LA-based moombahcore powerhouse two-piece MARKET PRICE abruptly broke up last week. Cries of woe filled the moombah forums as clamoring fans wondered aloud “why would a group already looking forward to forthcoming releases off of Dim Mak suddenly close-up shop?!” Well, questions were answered fairly quickly as the name on MARKET PRICE’s Soundcloud soon became “Valentino Khan,” as did all the artist bylines of former “Market Price” tracks. And the first remix to come from the updated pseudo is this hyper moombahcore-ified reflip of Schlachthofbronx‘s “Coolie Fruit.”

Valentino Khan‘s array of high-octane fused synth layers and filtered siren-laden loop-de-loops are intertwined into the breakdowns of Schlachthofbronx’s grimy urban bass original. Certainly no lack of energy and full-throttle builds into wild yet smoothly landed drops.
