Steve Angello at Wintervention- San Diego’s Electro Wonderland

One of my favorite memories from this past summer was lounging around with the girls in the sunshine, sipping cocktails, while listening to some awesome deep house and indie electro beats– Intervention at the Hard Rock Hotel was always a fabulous good time – and I cannot wait for the new season of Summer Sundays to begin!

But in the meantime, something just as fun has come to my attention – and, even more exciting, one of my favorite DJs of the moment will be apart of the fun as well:

On Sunday, February 28th, from 2 – 7p.m., indulge in the ultimate escape, retreat from the frosty chill, and be transported back to those summer days:

The 9,000 sq. ft.  Legends ballroom at the Hard Rock Hotel will be transformed into a mock winter wonderland version of the Woodstock pool deck. Decked out with chaise lounges, day beds, and lux cabana furnishings, I can only push my dreams of summertime aside, and live in that moment –where sunburns and weird tan lines are but laughable ironies.

Get down to upbeat house grooves from superstar DJ Steve Angello, of the Swedish House Mafia: His last appearance in San Diego, set Voyeur’s dance floor ablaze spinning his wildly popular track that makes audiences (me included!) borderline fanatical – “Show Me Love.”
Steve Angello’s newer track, Rollin, is full of energy and feel good dance vibes. This track is guaranteed to shake things up at Wintervention!!

This spectacular summer-inspired playground will be the perfect setting to flounce around in those sassy transition to Springtime pieces you’ve been saving- for just the right occasion to come up.

I’m already imagining the fashion fabulosities: Foxy Metallic bodysuits, Faux fur coats as cover-ups, tanned-bare legs, gaspingly high-heeled shooties- strewn about on white, plush cabana beds.

Epiphany: A photo like that would be UTTERLY AMAZING for this site.
