Sunday, July 18th: MADE IN BRAZIL at Voyeur

Three years after their first raging party, MADE IN BRAZIL, a party series presented by LIQUIFIED is still going strong and bringing the warm and soulful grooves of South America to the masses . This Sunday July 18th, the SUMMER SUNKISS mini tour will be pulsating through San Diego, transforming Voyeur for one night only into a tropical house haven with the sounds of Mary Zander and Luis Miolaro.

Liquified Events, a major player in the electronic dance scene since 1987 (the year i was born) has helped organize and bring to life countless tours and groundbreaking events from the East to West coast featuring some of the freshest talent in the world. Claiming credit for the event that inspired John Digweed’s ‘Global Underground Los Angeles‘ Liquified demands recognition as an integral force in the development of Los Angeles’s flourishing electronic dance scene. Made in Brazil, a tour developed by the event giant has been running strong for over three years, dedicated to bringing the tropical sounds of Rio and Ibiza stateside, and highlighting their showcase artists in the Summer Sunkiss series that this year is crisscrossing the US, making stops in Miami, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

Mary Zander (Brazil / Argentina), regarded as the “First-Lady” of Rio de Janeiro will be making her debut performance in San Diego, and will be bringing with her an arsenal of Deep & Tech house gems that have made her one of the leading Dj’s in her country. Zander, has more than earned her place as RESIDENT DJ at the prestigious Warung Club, chosen by both Mixmag and Dj Mag as one of the b-e-s-t clubs in the World playing alongside huge international acts; Gui Boratto, Fatboy Slim, Phonique + many more, a rare honor and responsibility that only the most esteemed DJs would ever dream of achieving. Recently added to Unlock Recordings roster, Zander has been seeing more time in the studio, producing her own flavor of Tech House and Ibiza worthy tracks that she has been playing out at festivals from Lisbon to Argentina, also earning her management by 3plus Talent, Brazil’s most respected DJ agency.
