Thursday, September 2nd: Kissy Sell Out at Voyeur

Born Tommy Bisdee, Kissy Sell Out is considered one of London’s staples of the electro scene. As one of BBC Radio 1′s biggest names still dropping below-the-radar tracks and quirky live remixes on the radio waves, Kissy Sell Out has also become an essential member of the world wide electro scene as well.

Known for his rapid remixing style and his equally speedy speaking rate, it’s hard to keep up with this guy at first listen. But be patient, because as little as ten-minutes into his ADD sets, you will be exposed to the newest drops in the EDM world and you’ll too, find yourself mesmerized and moving to his “jump up, rock, and rave” style.

Since Kissy Sell Out took over the Thursday night slot for Eddie Halliwell to host his own weekly show he’s dubbed “Kissy Klub“, he has been spreading his sonic flurry to masses of electro fiends around the world. His radio shows covers a massive range of electronic dance styles and genres, including a notable feature, dropping his own inklings he calls, “Kissy Klub Versions”, unofficial remixes he creates specifically for each and every show.

Aside from just being live on air every week, Kissy Sell Out also gives his fans near daily doses of Kissy goodness on his personal blog and new site for his record label, San City High, in the form of new reflips he has produced and bits of news announcements here and there as well. His commitment to maintaining a steady stream of contact with his friends and fans via his Twitter and Facebook, has undoubtedly placed him in the ranks amongst some of the most well-known DJs and producers in the world.

Running with simply a heavy arsenal of remixes under his belt, Kissy Sell Out dropped his debut solo album, Youth, in June 2009. Notable, heavy hitting dance tracks on the release include: Garden Friends; a fun and high energy track titled Harriet, and a deep, bass-laden club banger – Essex Boy.
