Calvin Harris’ very special touch on those dance floor favorites of ours and a whole array of other sparkly pop favorites, caused smiles to sweep across Voyeur Nightclub’s tightly packed dance floor on Monday night. It was almost as if Calvin Harris just knew… He just knew exactly how to make us go absolutely wild. And that he did.
Yes, AND it was a MONDAY night.
You heard that right.
When Voyeur announced they were completely sold out that night, they certainly weren’t exaggerating by any means. It’s been quite some time that I’ve actually seen Voyeur COMPLETELY packed, floor to ceiling. All those tightly-packed moving bodies caused an incredible nonstop wave of motion that lasted ALL night long.

Even the smoking patio remained reasonably empty throughout the night, as it seemed not one person in the place could find any good reason to take their eyes off of Calvin Harris nor any reason to stop dancing.
The show was SO good, that Calvin Harris did a second show the very next night which we heard was just as insanely packed and was as positively fun.
Ideally it would have been amazing to have gone to both shows. But realistically, I don’t think my body would have tolerated another endless night of body-moving and bouncing ’til last call/lights on danceathon. Which is not to say I’m anything less than totally jealous of all my fingers and toes worth of my friends I can name off the top of my head that did do both nights in a row.
I knew going into the night I was going to love this show, but now experiencing what was quite possibly the biggest MONDAY NIGHT BENDER EVER, I know that if I were everĀ going to make music, I’d want no, I’d NEED my tracks to make crowds go as absolutely nuts as Calvin Harris’ tracks do. I guess you could say, if you were at this show and you were in that same vivacious, beaming, and ever-moving crowd, you’d probably understand now why Chris Brown stole err allegedly sampled Calvin Harris‘ track, too.
