“What’s Good in the ‘Hood” is a weekly webzine dedicated to San Diego’s Downtown area, including Little Italy, Gaslamp, and the East Village, and sometimes those parts just bordering. The format: A simple yet thoughtful rundown of everything in the 92101 that’s relevant or particularly noteworthy for the week. Nothing fancy-lookin’ or over-saturated with Groupons and dating hotlines. Just something that’s informative and extremely effective. All cool, but without the frills.

All collected and easily printed to be the size of just ONE 8×11 sheet of paper. (Awesome AND eco-friendly!)

It’s the perfect guide for established locals looking for a heads-up on Downtown news, choice nightlife happenings, and under-the-radar specials all around town; and it’s a  convenient cheat-sheet for those exploring our lovely city for the first time: Simply fold it up and tuck in your back-pockets – and use it to find the best experience you won’t find on the first 5 pages of Google.

Simply Put: “What’s Good in The ‘Hood”: is everything you need, and nothing you don’t.

I still have a lot to learn in terms of making this as accessible as possible. But hey, I can guarantee you, it’s only going to get better from here on out.
